General principles of management

• Early stage:

– Low-grade : curative RT – High-grade : CMT if RT feasible. Full course chemo alone if not. • Tolerability of chemo • Response to chemo • Morbidity of RT • Suitability for future salvage

• Advanced stage:

– Low-grade: systemic Rx ± RT for local control – High-grade: systemic Rx ± consolidation RT to sites of EN disease
