Very good spatial resolution Easier to handle than radiographic films (natural light, no processing) Suitable for a ‘filmless’ department Cons

Relatively new tool (and still changing) More expensive than conventional films Still non-trivial reading procedure

Changes occured over the years on the film production process, now a more stable product is available(EBT3)
