Computer Optimization → Can of Worms

1. We need to explain to the

“optimizer” what is good and what is bad for the patient

2. We need to explain to the

“optimizer” what his degrees of freedom are (solution space)

3. The optimizer has to find the

“optimal” deliverable treatment plan that is good for the patient (or that is fulfilling the wishes of the radiation oncologist)
