How can we achieve this? • Stochastic programming : statistical method, using defined probability density functions for all uncertainty parameters (e.g. gaussian model for setup errors, breathin cycle...). Feed this to our IMRT objective function. • Worst case approach : make sure that constraints are always fulfilled, obtain the best plan in the worst case.
