Image-Guided Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy in Gynaecological Cancer

Material and Methods

• Evaluation: All cases with locally advanced cervical tumours are evaluated by the Committee of Gynaecological Tumours. Patients undergo computerized tomography (CT), MRI and, in some cases, positron emission tomography-CT (PET-CT) studies, and pelvic- paraaortic lymphadenectomy is performed for staging. • Chemotherapy involved the use of cisplatin 40 mg/m2, 1 day/week during 5 weeks.
