Imaging for early stage breast cancer

Safety procedures • Patient had cardiologic examination and ICD interrogation before surgery and an engineer from the ICD manufacturer switched off the ICD just before surgery and switched it on again at the end

• The cardiologist monitored the patient during and afterwards (pressure profile, saturation curve, cardiovascular compensation.)

• 2 days later, the patient was discharged after cardiologic examination and indication for ICD interrogation after a short time
