Results Cosmetic Outcome after 1 year

• USS achieved better cosmetic outcomes, with 20% excellent overall vs 14% in PGS and only 6% poor overall vs 13% in PGS • USS also had consistently lower odds for worse cosmetic outcomes (OR=0.55, p=0.067) than PGS

• The chance of having a worse outcome was significantly increased by a larger lumpectomy volume (p trend =0.002)

• USS resulted in a higher patient satisfaction compared with PGS.
