- all four techniques showed acceptable coverage of the PTV - IMRT spared more normal breast tissue and lung than 3D-CRT - non-PTV breast sparing was achieved at the cost of considerable dose exposure to the lung and heart in Tomo - proton beam irradiation provided the less dose to organs at risk
