Algebraic Reconstructions
Algebraic reconstructions are much more flexible, but significantly slower. They approach the problem as a set of linear equations to be solved.
Where: -
are the unknowns, i.e. the values of the image for each voxel
- are the coefficients which are known and derived from system‘s geometry. They indicate how much each voxel „falls“ into the path of that specific projection - are the measured projections.
