- 5Y local control: 90 %

- 5Y overall survival: 75 %

- Low morbidity

Mendenhall:

- Early stage rectal adenocarcinoma

- 20 patients contact therapy vs. 45 patients local excision +EBRT

- 5Y LC 80 vs. 86%
