Comparing clinical RBEs

When comparing RBE and effective doses, keep in mind: • The RBE is optimized for 2.7 Gy /Fx • No change for other Fx-schemes etc. • The endpoint may be different (early vs. late) For spot scanning HIMAC uses the MKM, which is mathematically very similar to the LEM Note: depth modulation is no longer constant!
