Types of Radiation in EBRT

• X rays and gamma rays = photons • electrons and beta particles - negative charge

• neutrons (20000 Pts -> too severe late effects)

• protons - positive charge (≈ 100000 Pts) • Alpha and heavy charged particles (> 10000 Pts with C-ion)
