CTV proximal tumor

1. GTV + 3-4 cm longitudinal along mucosa. For very

proximal tumors, the upper border should not

extend above the level of the cricoid cartilage

unless there is gross disease at that level .

2. GTV + 1 cm radial : microscopic spread + para-

esophageal St.8 (IASLC) .

Heart level + 0,5 cm into cardiac tissue (in the

absence of gross invasion)
