SURFACE MOULDS AND FLAPS

• Surface moulds and flaps are indicated in regular surfaces. Flaps are convenient in larger volume lesions. • Customized moulds can be adapted to irregular surfaces like nose, pinna, hand and fingers. • Dose is prescribed to 3-5 mm under the skin surface • A distance from the source to the skin of 5 mm is recommended to obtain homogeneity on the surface of the skin, and avoid an overdosage.
