Conclusion:

Head and neck cancer disease treated by modern RT techniques improves quality of life and physical functions after treatment over time. Most significant improvement occurred between 2 weeks and 3 months then reached a plateau. However, social function, social contact, pain and nutrition required a longer recovery interval after treatment. HT provides a therapeutic opportunity with better pain relief for patient with head and neck cancer.
