Brachytherapy - Gynaecology
ESTRO 2024
Conclusion:
We have successfully established a free and non-profit educational platform to disseminate evidence and knowledge about modern radiotherapy techniques with an emphasis on CT guided brachytherapy in countries with high cervical cancer incidence and/or limited radiotherapy resources. We demonstrated a successful adoption of our inaugural course by an Asian LMIC1. Close partnership with the national oncology society, the local faculty, and local course directors has resulted in a sustained motivation by the LMIC1 to implement modern brachytherapy and join a multi-institutional CT registration study.
