Results:
The relationship between the signal intensity of the ADRS and the size and distance of NPs was investigated. Figure 2(a) illustrates the relationship between the ADRS signal and the size of nanoparticles, while Figure 2(b) shows the relationship with the distance between nanoparticles. The signal intensity of the ADRS without NPs was normalized to 1 for comparison. It was observed that both the size and distance of NPs had an impact on the signal intensity. Based on the measurement results of the ADRS signal with respect to the NPs conditions shown in Fig. 2(a) and (b), it was found that the NPs with a size of 100nm and a distance of 4nm exhibited the best performance. Therefore, we conducted a performance evaluation of the np-ADRS using NPs with the conditions of size 100 nm and distance 100 nm. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the fabricated np-ADRS system in capturing integral depth dose (IDD) curves and linearity characteristic with high accuracy and sensitivity, highlighting its potential for enhancing PBS dosimetry.
