ULF MRI has the potential to be used for breast imaging in both prone and sitting positions for compact proton therapy system settings. With further development and shorter image acquisition times, ULF MRI could be used to achieve position monitoring and to enable an adaptive treatment procedure for tumor sites with inter- and especially intra-fractional motion.
