Conclusion:

Compared to the 2D approaches, the 2.5D sSPR maps showed significantly reduced intensity-based errors. Even though the results are quite promising for a first implementation, for all approaches, the deviation from the reference data set is still too high to be clinically applied and further improvement is needed.

Future work include detailed histogram analyses and dosimetric evaluations (dose volume histograms and gamma indices).
