Figure 1: The left image shows the deformed cryosection image in the coronal plane. The orientation of the muscle fascicles is clearly visible within the muscles. The dominant component of the structure tensor within the muscles is displayed as an arrow. The right image shows the shortest path distance computed in each voxel around the GTV.

Figure 2: Three personalized “anatomy-aware” CTVs, CTV1-3 with eigenvalue ratio of 0.25, 0.05, and 0.01, are compared to a classical CTV with generic 1 and of 2 cm margins in non-muscle and muscle tissue. All contours overlay the patient-specific CT image in the coronal plane.
