Conclusion:
We report a detailed analysis of SNR profiles for three brain setups compatible with radiotherapy immobilization devices for a T1 MPRAGE sequence. The two setups integrating a coil in the space between the posterior part of the head and the treatment table top showed an SNR increase >50% in the central transverse plane. Beyond the proposed T1 sequence, the presented methodology can be adapted to any sequences. Those quantitative results further support qualitative assessments of volunteer images.
