In behavioral tests, the irradiation group exhibited decreased social interaction behavior, memory functions, and locomotor activity in the open field compared to the normal group. However, the oxytocin group showed increased social interaction behavior, memory functions, and locomotor activity in the open field compared to the irradiation group. MRS showed that lactate levels increased in the irradiation group compared to the normal group, while NAA and creatine levels decreased. In the oxytocin group, lactate levels decreased compared to the irradiation group, while NAA and creatine levels increased (Figure 3).
