RTT - Patient experience and quality of life
ESTRO 2024
Conclusion:
It is both feasible and the right thing to do, to engage with and collaborate with our patients when designing and implementing research projects. The perspective of those who have the lived experience can identify what is practicable and acceptable to patients.
Providing opportunities for patients to influence study design and delivery could mitigate potential barriers to allow for optimal recruitment to a study.
