practice (Mean pre = 2.2 (SD 1.6), Mean post = 3.8 (SD 0.9)), understanding and analyzing MRI image quality ( Mean pre = 2.4 (SD 1.7), Mean post = 3.5 (SD 0.5)) and designing optimal adaptive radiation plans Mean pre = 2.6 (SD 2.0), Mean post = 3.7 (SD 1.5)). All graduates will be working with MRI technology at their respective workplaces as a result of completing this program.

Conclusion:

A comprehensive, learner-centred curriculum was designed for RTTs to acquire the confidence and competence to integrate MR-technology into RT practice. Preliminary data suggests this was achieved as the pilot cohort reported a greater understanding of the core competencies required to safely operate MRI in RT and participate in MRgRT. Future work is planned to evaluate the ultimate outcomes and impact of this program compared to alternative training pathways.
