A Mann-Kendall trend test was performed to assess the trend of the GI with respect to the size of the targets. The results revealed significant decreasing trends (p < 0.05) in the GI as the size of the targets increased for all three techniques (figure 2).

Conclusion:

The sphericity of the target serves as an informative parameter for predicting the CI in cone-based SRS before planning. It is noteworthy that the gradient index is influenced by the size of the target, rather than its sphericity.
