A total of 140 patients were evaluated using questionnaires post-treatment. The cohort had an average age of 62 years, with women comprising 84% of the group. Most cases were classified as clinical stage III. The mean LARS score was 27.7 (indicating minor LARS). In the EORTC QLQ-C30, the functional score averaged 82.3, the symptom score 18.5, and the global health score 63.4. The EORTC QLQ-ANL27 yielded a functional score (sexual function) of 40.3 and a symptom score of 25.6. A correlation was observed between the LARS and the ANL-27 symptom score: patients without LARS had a ANL-27 mean symptom score of 9, those with minor LARS scored 19 in ANL-27, and those with major LARS scored 33 in ANL-27 questionnaire. Conclusion: Patient, tumour, and treatment characteristics significantly impacted quality-of-life scores after radical radiotherapy, highlighting the multifactorial influence of clinical and lifestyle factors on patient outcomes. The LARS questionnaire correlates with ANL-27 and can serve as a valuable tool for the rapid assessment of anorectal function.
