OS, multivariable Cox regression analyses were performed on complete cases. A priori selected variables included age, sex, performance status (PS), forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1), planning target volume (PTV), and immunotherapy and chemotherapy delivery. The mean lung dose was calculated for both non-emphysematous lung regions and the whole lung. Both physical dose and EQD2,3 (equivalent dose in 2 Gy fractions with an α/β=3Gy) were tested. Results: The median age of the cohort was 74 years (range:41–96), with 681 patients (52%) being male (Table 1). The median follow-up duration was 28.3 months (range:0.5–99.3). The median ratio of the mean dose to non-emphysematous lung (HU>-950) to the mean dose to the whole lung was 1.3 (range:0.5–5.1).
