sites, fostering greater mentorship and supporting new PIs. The development of a national IRROG RTQA programme facilitated an increased number of radiotherapy clinical trials opening across the country.
Results: Figure 1 shows the increase in the number of IITs recruiting in Ireland. Figure 2 outlines the increased accruals to interventional clinical trials, which has surpassed the target of doubling pre-IRROG accrual rates within the first three years of IRROG's establishment. Key achievements during the first three years included opening a complex head and neck trial involving combination immunotherapy and chemoradiotherapy in the west of Ireland. Ireland was also the top accruing country to the Preserve trial, which was the first head and neck trial to open in all public RT departments across Ireland. IRROG has also increased the number of trials available in poor prognosis tumours such as pancreatic cancer as is evidenced in Figure 1.
