Similarly, figure 2 illustrates a patient with 9% risk of occult metastasis in the ipsilateral lymph node level III and 5% contralaterally. By lowering the dose to the pharyngeal constrictor muscles, we achieved a 9% reduction in risk of dysphagia (from 26.1% to 17.1%), with only small compromises in TCP (99.0% to 97.9% and 99.5% to 98.5%, respectively).
