The mean (±SD) volume change per fraction across all patients was -0.10±0.06cc for the submandibular glands and - 0.27±0.16cc for the parotid glands. For the parotid glands, a significant correlation was observed between the volume change and the delivered dose, whereas no significant correlation was found between the intensity change and volume change (figure 2).
