Results:
Image 1 Patients with organ motion ≥1cm (without AC) were observed in left and right kidney= 30% (n=3), stomach= 50% (n=5), liver= 40% (n=4) and spleen= 60% (n=6) respectively. With AC a maximum reduction of 38%, 60%, 56% and 64% were recorded in kidney, liver stomach and spleen motion respectively. Splenic motion increased in 40% of patients with the addition of AC (range 1-10mm).
Image 2 Average distance change with AC between liver to right kidney was -0.7mm in axial direction and -0.2mm in superior/inferior direction. Spleen to left kidney distance showed a reduction of 0.3mm axial and 1.9mm superior/inferior with AC. Bowel for both left and right sided kidneys showed reduction of max 0.3mm in axial direction with little to no difference observed in inspiration/expiration.
