ESTRO 2025
RTT was identified as playing an active role in the screening, recruitment and consent processes. The RTT is a key communicator in the multidisciplinary team acting as an advocate and key contact for the patient on a trial. Table 2. Recruitment numbers for 2021- 2023 onto clinical trials.
CT Retention rate has remained high at 97%. RTTs play a crucial role in patient education, understanding, and support of patients throughout the clinical trial process. Conclusion: Effective screening and recruitment strategies are essential for successful radiotherapy CT management. RTTs are integral to the CT team, contributing to patient education, support, and protocol adherence. Future efforts will involve expanding the clinical trial portfolio to lung, site specific oligometastatic, head and neck, brain, and breast cancer CT.
