a) Best interest of individual patient ? (maybe a trend is enough to make an advice and a choice) versus b) Interest of future patients ? (need to produce scientific proof with p < 0.05… ) versus c) Cost – benefit trials (experimental arm superior, but how much better and worth the additional cost to adopt it by the health system…?)
