This session will start with a comprehensive overview of the importance of interdisciplinary research in radiation oncology and how to design translational clinical trials. We will learn about why translational clinical trials are important, the pitfalls and key to success in planning such trials and the importance of collaboration networks. The second part of the session includes a Science Slam with talks from three young scientists receiving the ESTRO mobility grant.
