SYMPOSIUM Radiomics – Technical and clinical challenges and opportunities

08:45 - 10:00  |  ROOM 111 The symposium will focus on the use of standard-of-care medical images for the extraction of large amounts of novel and quantitative features– the field of Radiomics. We will start with a focus on the technical challenges of Radiomics such as sensitivity to segmentation, preprocessing methods and feature calculations. Opportunities to address these include standardized terminologies, phantoms and publically available datasets. Then we will shift to the clinical perspective such as the role of Radiomics in managing patients, the state-of-the-art and future of radiomics.
