SYMPOSIUM Multi-parametric functional imaging for patient classification, RT personalisation and response monitoring 14:30 - 15:45  | ROOM 112 In this symposium on multi-parametric (mp) functional imaging, different modalities for image acquisition as well as current studies linking mp imaging to clinical outcome will be described. Furthermore, the use of multi-parametric imaging for characterization of tumor heterogeneity will be discussed. In addition to parameter correlations between hypoxia, metabolism and perfusion, techniques to analyze functional imaging data of patient cohorts, individual tumors, sub-volumes and on voxel level will be discussed. The last talk will focus on prostate cancer and present the potential of quantitative mp MRI for spatial mapping of Gleason grade prostate cancer with voxel-level resolution, which may improve the accuracy of targeted biopsies and thus provide more accurate prognostic information for future dose painting radiotherapy.
