NTCP model structure

Regression models cannot handle 3D dose distributions or DVHs; requires a summary measure φ , e.g. mean dose, which takes the volume effect into account. The most widely used (Lyman) model uses a cumulative normal function with 2 parameters: φ 50 and m. Additional parameters might be needed for the DVH summary.
