- good target volume coverage can be achieved with all four techniques - conformality is better with the IMRT techniques

- ipsilateral breast can be better protected with IMRT techniques (the best is the RapidArc)

- contralateral breast and lung receive higher dose with IMRT techniques than with 3D-CRT
