APBI with Cyberknife

- dosimetric study with14 patients on the feasibility of APBI with CyberKnife

- all the dosimetric parameters for the target and critical structures met the NSABP/RTOG protocol

- compared to IMRT and 3D-CRT, a more conformal dose to the target and better dose sparing of the

critical structure were observed, except for the region that received an extremely low dose

- with advanced real-time tracking capability, CyberKnife should provide better target coverage and

spare nearby critical organs
