BCT patients treated with no adj systemic therapy developed LR throughout a 20-yr period Among younger BCT patients, 1 patient developed DM for every 2 LR (47 LR:21 DM) Among older BCT patients LR did not predict later DM (11 LR: 0 DM) Among older BCT patients molecular subtypes do not predict BCM Remember: these 2 studies include patients not treated with adj systemic therapy, so they reflect the natural history. Today, most of these patients will be offered systemic therapy with the potential to more than half the risk of recurrence
