RMH Deferral Trial Entry Criteria

1. MRI defined complete response: mrTRG1-2 : low signal intensity fibrotic scar tissue only seen at MRI performed 4 weeks after long-course CRT, confirmed at 8-12 week MRI. Biopsy positive disease not an initial exclusion criterion

Thickening of rectal wall – not an exclusion Abnormality on endoscopy – not an exclusion Clinically palpable tumour – not an exclusion 59 patients enrolled in 3 years
