Current RT Volume Recommendations

 Use MRI to identify extent of bony and soft tissue disease

 GTV takes into account pre-chemo extent of disease

 CTV 1.0-1.5cm margin, plus PTV margin • Except for large soft tissue mass extending into a body cavity which responds to CTX and allows normal tissues to shift back into position Appropriate modifications in tumors expanding into anatomical cavities (thorax, pelvis) without infiltration
