SYMPOSIUM Current issues in the treatment of muscle-invasive bladder cancer 08:45 - 10:00  | ROOM 117 This session will present the long-term outcomes from the BC2001 MIBC chemoradiation trial, including survival and quality of life data and multivariable analysis of risk factors, focussing on important aspects of case selection and the effects of multimodal versus monomodal therapy. The role of pelvic radiotherapy will then be considered, including technical aspects of pelvic vs bladder only, plan of the day, and whole vs partial bladder radiotherapy approaches. Radiotherapy following radical cystectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection to prevent locoregional relapse will also be discussed, particularly emerging data addressing the ‘who, what and how’ aspects of adjuvant treatment. Chair: A. Kiltie (United Kingdom) Co-Chair: B. De Bari (France) 08:45 > Organ preservation in bladder cancer – an evidence-based alternative to radical surgery Speaker: N. SYMPOSIUM Do we need adjuvant vaginal BT in endometrial cancer? 08:45 - 10:00  | ROOM 129-130

The session will focus on the need for adjuvant BT in endometrial cancer patients, pro’s and con’s will be addressed. Different patterns of practice will be discussed, including the role of different dose fractionation schemes and dose de-escalation. Local control, recurrence rates, patterns failure and survival after omittance of vaginal BT will be demonstrated. Current clinical and pathological features for risk stratification, the role of molecular markers and possibilities for further improvement of risk stratification strategies will be presented. Chair: B. Segedin (Slovenia) Co-Chair: M. Schmid (Austria)

08:45 > No, not necessary, the Danish experience Speaker: G. Ørtoft (Denmark)
