SYMPOSIUM Patient centered care and monitoring side effects: Review clinics and follow up 08:45 - 10:00  | ROOM 111 Optimal patient centered care is the goal of all health care professionals working in the area of radiation oncology. There are often debates about which professional is best placed to monitor side-effects and run review clinics. Is it the specialised nurse or RTT? Recent research has also recognised the need to be aware of the patient experience and to harness this experience to influence future practice. This symposium will feature international speakers who will provide a review of the role of RTT vs specialised nurse in radiation oncology, examine patient experiences- personal and from the literature and discuss how to implement patient knowledge and experience into future practice for optimal patient care.
